Response Institute is now offering The Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services Mandatory Training for Security Guards course. This 40 hour course will help prepare you for the new Ontario testing programme. We will assist you with completing your licence application and notarizing your licence photo. Based on your deportment; achievement level in the course; and securing the ministry's mandatory licence requirement; you will be placed on the company's employment roster, or placed with another agency partner. This is an educational process: which will lead to licensing after you have passed the ministry examination.

The [full] course runs from Monday to Friday (bi-monthly [8:30 - 5:30]) and the remedial security course runs every Wednesday [8:30 - 5:00]. The course(s) will provide each student with insightful perspectives about a variety of topics which deal with security issues, helping you to understand both the practical and conceptual features that are a part of every security guard's duties in the industry.

Candidates must have:

• An ability to work shifts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service
• An ability to work in active environments
